About Me

In June of 2000, I'll graduate with an MPH (Masters of Public Health) in Community Health Sciences. Then I'm off to East Africa for two months (with my trusty doxycycline, of course!). In September, I'll start a job with the U.S. Public Health Prevention Service at the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta.

A life-long goal is to have traveled to the same number of countries as my age. After August 2000, I'll be on target since I'll have traveled to:Mainland China, the Czech Republic, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, the Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, the UK, Vietnam, Cambodia, Luxemburg, Mexico, France, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, Hong Kong, Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania, and Italy.

Sometimes it's a little better to travel than to arrive.
